COVID-19: Delta records 8 new cases, total now 1621, discharges 1435 ~ Truth Reporters

Delta State has recorded 8 new cases of the Coronavirus bringing the total infections in the state to 1621 and active cases rose to 141 on Wednesday.
According to figures from the State Ministry of Health, 1,435 patients have been succesfully treated and discharged while 45 fatalities have so far been recorded on account of the pandemic.
Delta is on 9th position among the most impacted states in Nigeria ranking behind Lagos, FCT, Oyo, Edo, Rivers, Kaduna, Kano and Plateau states. The state has so far carried out tests on 7,501 persons and has so far achieved 99 percent contact tracing success rate.
