COVID-19: Delta records 17 new cases, total now 1613, discharges 1430 ~ Truth Reporters

Delta State has recorded 17 new cases of the Coronavirus bringing the total infections in the state to 1613 and active cases rose to 139 on Tuesday.
According to figures from the State Ministry of Health, 1,430 patients have been succesfully treated and discharged while 44 fatalities have so far been recorded on account of the pandemic.
Delta is on 8th position among the most impacted states in Nigeria ranking behind Lagos, FCT, Oyo, Edo, Rivers, Kano and Kaduna states. The state has so far carried out tests on 7,466 persons and has so far achieved 99 percent contact tracing success rate.
