Osanebi preaches love, peace at Christmas ~ Truth Reporters

Member representing Ndokwa East State constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi this morning said that the essence of Christmas was to celebrate the source of love and peace to mankind .

Osanebi who urged Christians to celebrate with understanding of the purpose, also admonished Deltans to imbibe the spirit of oneness, love and peace in a greater dimension as they celebrate Christmas.

The lawmaker further charged Deltans to be peaceful and demonstrate love to everyone irrespective of their religious or political background.

“Christmas is a season of love, when Christians mark the birth of our lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It’s therefore a season to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus for mankind, which was occasioned by love.

“The underlining essence of Christmas is love, we must therefore celebrate it with this understanding and in peace also..

“The reason for this season is nothing other than to show love to our neighbours and live in unity," Osanebi stated
