Egbabor preaches love, peaceful co-existence at Christmas ~ Truth Reporters
As Christians all over the world celebrate Christmas, Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor has called on the people of the Local Government Area and indeed Deltans and as well Nigerians to show love to one another by living in peace.
Egbabor in a Christmas goodwill message on Tuesday said Christmas was a time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ who lived and died for our sins.
He noted that Christmas is all about giving and making sacrifice as Christ sacrificed for us to live.
He charged the people of the area to continue to live peacefully in love as peace was the only way out for development to come to any community.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Isoko North, i wish you all a very happy Christmas celebration filled with love and warmth.
“As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I urge all our people to live in peace and show love to one another as the season demands.
“Let us share with one another in the spirit of the season and also avoid acts that could lead to breakdown of law and order.
"Furthermore, as we celebrate, let us remember that there is a reason for this season and hence we must learn to imbibe the principles taught by Christ for the salvation of mankind.
"Let us be vigilant and security conscious as we go about the celebration and report any act of criminality to relevant security agencies to ensure a hitch-free Christmas celebration," he added
