9th Edition of Okowa's Annual football tourney holds Dec 30 ~ Truth Reporters
The 9th edition of the Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa Annual Football Tournament comes up on Monday December, 30, 2019.
According to a statement by Coach Lucky Sunday, Special Assistant on Sports to Delta State Governor, the final match which takes place at the Agbor Township Stadium on Monday December 30 at 2pm will be chaired by His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Governor of Delta State.
Special Guests of Honour: Rt.Hon. Victor Nwokolo, member, representing Ika Federal Constituency; Barr. Chiedu Ebie, Secretary to Delta State Government; Rt.Hon. Nduka Irabor, Former Member representing Ika Federal Constituency; Hon. Tony Elekeokuri, member representing Ika North East in the Delta State House of Assembly; Hon. Festus Chukwuyem Okoh, member representing Ika South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly; Rt. Hon. Martin Okonta, Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Water Resources; Mr. Charles Ehiedu Aniagwu, Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Information; Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, Chief Economic Adviser to Delta State Governor; Chief Tony Okowa, Chairman, Delta State Sports Commission.
Others expected include; Hon. Bar. Victor Ebonka, Executive Chairman, Ika North East Local Government Council and his Ika South counterpart Hon. Bar. Victor Okoh.
The statement further said all traditional rulers in Ika Nation are cordially invited.
