SHOW OF SOLIDARITY, ANDREW EVBIE PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO OLOROGUN DAVID EDEVBIE
Andrew Evbie, a renowned philanthropist who had to cut short his business trip overseas, returned to the country specifically for the purpose of the burial of the late patriarch which takes place on Friday the 8th of November, 2019.
Andrew Evbie, accompanied by his bossom friend, partner, and frontline youth leader of the Niger Delta, Snr. Comr. Idi Presley, arrived the residence of the party leader with members of his entourage around 11 am , were received by the chief of staff, who from the smile across his face was happy for the show of solidarity.
Speaking during the visit, Andrew Evbie narrated how Pa Edevbie lived a fulfilled life before he was called home at a ripe age of 93.
He added that, although people see death as a period of mourning but to him and his supporters, they see the forthcoming laying to rest of papa as time for celebration of a life very well spent.
"Olorogun, i am here with my supporters to show solidarity with you as our leader, we want you to know that in time of your happiness we stand firmly with you and in time of your distress we will also stand besides you.
Papa lived a very successful life, the legacies he left behind will be bequeathed from one generation to another, so it will be a disservice if we say we are not going to celebrate him, Andrew Evbie stated."
Welcoming the entourage, Olorogun David Edevbie who was overwhelmed by the show of love, appreciated deeply the thoughts of remembering him and his family at this time, adding that the show of solidarity will go a long way in aidin him to get over the demise of his beloved father.
Speaking further, Olorogun David stated his desire to see his people stand by him on the day of the burial, as besides showing to the world that his people always stand in solidarity with him, it will give papa joy to see that he was given a befitting burial.
Highlight of the visit was the presentation of a jumbo sized male cattle by Andrew Evbie to support the entertainment of guests, after which the team accompanied Olorogun David Edevbie on a tour to the venue of the burial.
