Egbabor Eulogises Gov. Okowa At 60
The Chairman of Isoko North Local Government, Honorable Emmanuel Egbabor has congratulated Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa as he clocks 60 years today, Monday July 8, 2019.
In a statement at Ozoro on Monday, Hon. Egbabor said, the people of Isoko North Local Government appreciates the immense contributions of Senator Okowa to the development of Delta State and Nigeria in general. The Chairman noted that Governor Okowa had every cause to celebrate and thank God Almighty for His benevolence on the joyful occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary.
“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Isoko North Local Government, I write to felicitate with His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary, today, July 8, 2019.
“Over the years, you have given yourself to the cause of peace and development of Delta State and Nigeria in general. For this, we owe you an enduring debt of gratitude.
"As a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you had a brilliant, inspiring and an unbeatable record as you worked assiduously to pass a record 10 bills chiefly among was the National Health Insurance Bill which you recently replicated in Delta, with the creation of the Delta State Contributory Health Commission with over 560,000 Deltans already subscribed to it including the aged, the under 5 and pregnant women with the state government picking their bills.
"Deltans rewarded your hardwork and dedication by voting you again for another term in office after a scintillating first term that was laden with prosperity for all Deltans," he said, adding “In a life that has seen you reach an enviable height of your public service and political endeavours, there is great cause for you, members of your family, your many political associates and well-wishers to thank Almighty God for His benevolence upon you.
“As you deservedly celebrate this landmark, it is my prayer that Almighty God continues to bless you with robust health and many more years of happiness and contribution to nation building.”
The Chairman wished Governor Ifeanyi Okowa a very happy birthday and prayed that God Almighty will continue to guide and bless him as he delivers his Stronger Delta agenda of our dreams.
