BREAKING: Okowa nominates Ex-Speaker Okonta, Tilije, Gbe, Akpowowo, 3 others as Commissioner nominees ~ Truth Reporters

GOVERNOR Ifeanyi Okowa, has submitted names of additional seven commissioner nominees to the Delta State House of Assembly for screening.

The seven nominees include; One time Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt Hon Martins Okonta, immediate past Commissioner for Water Resources, Chief Fidelis Tilije.

Others include, immediate past Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring Engr. Lawrence Ejiofor, Board Member Representing Delta South in the Board of the State Board of Internal Revenue Chief Barry Pere Gbe, one time State Youth Leader of the PDP Olorogun Arthur Akpowowo, former Executive Assistant to the Governor on Revenue Matters Mr. Churchill Amagada and Hon Julius Egbedi.

The nominees have been directed to appear for screening on Thursday July, 11.

The House also received another letter nominating Mr Paul Aghanenu as Auditor-General State.

In another development, the House also screened and confirmed John Ojobu Esq.and Chief James Obeuwou as members of the Delta State Judicial Service Commission.
