Tidi Inaugurates WASH Committee in Warri South
The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr Michael Tidi yesterday in his office in Warri inaugurated members of the Water Sanitation and Hygiene Services (WASH).
Dr Tidi in his remark said the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa on May 10, 2019 declared "A state of emergency" on Water and Sanitation in the state in order for Deltans to have clean and safe water.
While congratulating members of the committee for their successful inauguration, he expressed optimism that with the calibre of people that made up the committee, they will succeed.
Responding on behalf of the members, the Ovie of Okere Urhobo Kingdom, HRM Prof Paul Okumagba represented by Chief Bright Okumagba, thanked God for the opportunity, he also expressed his gratitude to the chairman for finding them worthy to serve and assured him of their cooperation to move Warri and Delta State forward.
Members of the WASH committee inaugurated include Dr Tidi Michael as chairman, the Olu of Warri, Ovie of Agbara, Ovie of Okere Urhobo, Prof. Mary Edema, Mr Anthony Ebule, Mrs Emiko Mercy, Omawumi Tseke, Mrs Mode Stella, Mrs Beauty Idoze, Mr Wilson Omor, Dr Sagah, and Mr Enomuya Bemigo.
