DREAMS 2019: Celebrating 15 Years of Building Role Models 

The Delta Role Model Awards, DREAMS, has announced entries for the 2019 edition of its Awards for Excellence with a call on Deltans to nominate the right Role Models.

A statement by the organisers of the event, said the Country Director at African Child Foundation Amb. Donaldson Onosakponome is the Host, while Delta State Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa will be the Chief Host.

"This years' event which celebrates 15 years of the biannual event is in partnership with the Solomon Okowa Foundation is scheduled to hold August 22nd at Sweet Spirit Hotel in Asaba.

"This brand which was established in 2002 has evolved over the years and has celebrated all well meaning Deltans in business and government circle and adjudged the best awards and recognition event in the South South of Nigeria.

Among categories to be nominated include Delta Man of the Year, Empowerment personality of the Year, Industrialist of the Year, Youth Role Model, among others.

The statement further stated that DREAMS Awards was highly respected because of its meticulous and transparent judging process, “To win a DREAM award, you must be a true Role Model by every sense of the word. All nominees are thoroughly screened by the general public who votes for their choice Role Models, while a panel of judges evaluate all entries based on international standards, this is what puts The Delta Role Model Awards ahead of all other awards in the Industry” the statement said.
